Fisher's Technology Teams Up with Tumbleweed to Support Homeless Youth With Home Cooked Meal
BILLINGS, Montana – November 15, 2021 – Fisher’s Technology, Billing's local office tech experts, recently partnered with Tumbleweed, a non-profit out of Billings, MT for homeless youth, and provided home cooked meals prepared and served by Fisher's family.
Nick Bravo, Fisher's Account Manager in Eastern Montana, entered the season of giving by leading efforts to support their business neighbor, Tumbleweed. Tumbleweed is a non-profit, community-based agency serving homeless, trafficked, runaway, and otherwise at-risk youth and their families and support systems.
It all started when Nick and his wife, Brittanie, were discussing how they could support their community and also teach their three daughters about the act of serving. Both Nick and Brittanie were youth pastors previously, before moving to Billings to raise their family and plant roots. Choosing to support Tumbleweed was an easy choice as it aligned with their passion for kids and being right across the street from Fisher’s office.
The Bravo family took the act of serving literally and decided that nothing beats a home cooked meal. Early October, the Billings Fisher’s team and Bravo family gathered to roll up their sleeves to make it happen. They made one of their favorite meals for Tumbleweed youth, “Bravo Tacos”. A total of 50 meals were provided. Fisher's Montana Regional Manager, Amanda Byrne, Managed Print Specialist, Jason Meeker, and Owner/VP of Sales, Eric Strand, lent a helping hand as well.
