Meet our Central Montana Market Lead

We are lucky to have Amanda Byrne join our Fisher’s family in late 2018. She has been nothing but extraordinary in her responsibilities for Fisher’s.

Amanda Byrne, Fisher’s Butte, Helena and Great Falls Market Lead

What is the first thing you do in the morning? Wake up, God willing. Most often, I check email after that, but I am trying to break that habit.

Describe your day-to-day work day? Difficult to describe and no day is the same.  I get to help my team and direct traffic around the office when needed, I get to work with customers/clients on process improvements and utilization of equipment, I do some consulting for customers/clients, I get feedback for what is working and not and try to fix the process where I can or find the person who can, I get to work on strategy with customers and my team. I get to travel.  I get to learn – something new every day. And, I answer emails.  Lots and lots of emails.  No day is the same, no day is boring, and I have the most amazing team and customers I could have ever dreamed.

What is your biggest challenge? Not enough time in the day, prioritizing and changing priorities.

What do you enjoy most about your job? The top of my list is and always has been the amazing team I work with and our amazing customers and businesses.  Second, there is never a dull moment; I am never bored…ever.

What is a failure/mistake that you learned from?  I make mistakes on a daily basis; probably too many to count.  I, hopefully, am learning from all of them.  I think my biggest lesson this week has been to not assume.

When did you consider yourself a success?  I don’t consider myself a success.  I am a work in progress and I get better daily.  I most feel success, though, when I help another person succeed.

How do you push through your worst times? I look at how I want things to be in a future state and work towards that.  I remind myself that this is only temporary and God will not give me more than I can handle.  I try to remember to take it one day at a time.  If I can’t do the whole day, I work through an hour at a time.  Not gonna lie, sometimes, I cry and lean on my amazing support system hubby and family.

What keeps you awake at night? Probably mostly anxiety and ADHD.

What are your successful habits? Positive attitude, taking action (I am a fixer), reading, goal minded and driven.

What is your biggest weakness?  There isn’t enough space to list my biggest weakness, but I would put down that I am passionate and sensitive which is overwhelming to others and makes for a really bad poker face. Also, I am not very flexible at adapting to change (physically or mentally).

On a scale of 1-10 (1 being low and 10 high), how weird are you? 20

How would you describe yourself in 1-word? Driven

What is your favorite TV show?  Outlander

A fact one might not know about me?  I am secretly an introvert.
